Wallabies Travel Competition Terms and Conditions (“Competition”)

 

1.       Information on how to enter and the prize(s) form part of these terms and conditions. By participating, entrants agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.

 

2.       ELIGIBILITY: Entry is open to individuals aged 18 years or over who are physically present in Queensland at the time of entry and who submit a valid entry during the Promotion Period. Employees and their immediate families of Rugby Australia and the Promoter, associated sponsor(s) and their immediate families are not eligible to enter. The Promoter reserves the right to request the winner to provide proof of age, identity, and residential address, in order to claim a prize. Proof of age, identification and residential address considered suitable for verification is at the discretion of the Promoter. If the winner cannot provide suitable proof, the winner will forfeit the prize in whole and no substitute will be offered.

 

3.       HOW TO ENTER: During the Promotion Period, eligible entrants must complete and submit the online entry form accessible via the QR code or at https://wallabiestravel.com.au/join-us-at-mad-cow-tavern-after-the-game/, including their name, email address and phone number. Upon successful submission, entrants will receive one (1) entry into the draw. Limit of one (1) entry per person. All entrants have an equal chance at being drawn as the Competition winner

 

4.       DATES: The Competition opens at 5.00pm AEST on Saturday, 15 August 2026 and closes at 12.00pm AEST on Sunday, 16 August 2026 (“Promotion Period”).  All entries received after this time are ineligible for entry into the Competition and no responsibility will be accepted by the Promoter for lost, late, incomplete, incorrectly submitted, delayed, illegible, corrupted or misdirected entries claims or correspondence. The winners will be drawn at random on Wednesday, 19 August 2026 at the Promoter’s head office and notified in accordance with Section 9. The winner's first initial, surname and State/Territory may be published on the Promoter’s website.

 

5.       PRIZE:

There is one (1) Major Prize available. The Major Prize includes two (2) tickets to attend the 2027 ANZAC Day Bledisloe Cup Wallabies Match in Brisbane, at Suncorp Stadium on Sunday, 25 April 2027, valued at approximately $1,000.

 

The Prize does not include: flights, accommodation, transfers to or from the airport, or any meals.

 

The Prize is valid for the 2027 ANZAC Day Bledisloe Cup only. Tickets are subject to availability. They cannot be transferred to any other future events at the request of the winner.

 

6.       DISCONTINUANCE AND DISQUALIFICATION OF COMPETITION: The Promoter reserves the right to discontinue the Competition at any time and at its sole discretion may cancel, terminate, suspend or modify the Competition and/or, if necessary, to provide an alternative prize or prizes to the same value as an original Prize or Prizes. Any change to or cancellation of this Competition, for whatever reason, is subject to the written direction of all applicable laws. Without limiting the foregoing, the Promoter reserves the right to verify the validity of entries and to disqualify any entry which, in the opinion of the Promoter, can be considered objectionable, profane, potentially insulting, inflammatory or defamatory, or any entrant whose entry is not compliant with these terms or who has, in the opinion of Promoter, engaged in conduct in entering the Competition which is fraudulent, misleading, deceptive or generally damaging to the goodwill or reputation of the Competition and/or Promoter. The Promoter reserves the right in its sole discretion to disqualify any individual who the Promoter has reason to believe has breached any of these conditions or engaged in any unlawful or other improper misconduct calculated to jeopardise the fair and proper conduct of the Competition.

 

7.       PRIZE DELIVERY: The Prize will be supplied to the Winner by the Promoter who will organise delivery of the Prize with the winner upon notification of the Winner after the draw is complete.

 

8.       TERMS AND CONDITIONS: By claiming the Prize the winner must comply with the Promoters Booking Terms and Conditions and any applicable ticketing and venue terms in force at the time of redemption of the Prize.

9.        The Promoter reserves the right to refuse to award any Prize to an entrant who they decide (in its sole discretion) has violated these Terms and Conditions, gained an unfair advantage in participating in the Competition or won using fraudulent means.

 

10.    WINNER NOTIFICATION: The winner will be notified by email and/or phone using the contact details provided at the time of entry within two (2) business days of the draw. The Promoter will make reasonable efforts to contact the winner. If the winner cannot be contacted, does not respond, or does not claim the Prize by 5:00pm AEST on Friday, 21 August 2026, the Promoter may conduct a redraw at the Promoter’s offices on Monday, 24 August 2026. The redraw winner will be notified by email and/or phone within two (2) business days of the redraw.

 

11.    THE PROMOTER: is Sports Travel and Hospitality Australia Pty Limited, trading as Wallabies Travel, company registration number 638 319 543 and having its head office at Level 40, Governor Macquarie Tower, 1 Farrer Place, NSW 2000, Sydney, Australia.

 

12.    NO CORRESPONDENCE: The Promoter’s decision regarding the winner is final and no correspondence will be entered into.

 

13.    NOT REDEEMABLE OR TRANSFERABLE: The Prize is not transferable, exchangeable nor redeemable for cash.

 

14.    INFORMATION:  By entering the Competition, the winner agree to their names being published, by The Promoter and that the Promoter or promotional partners may use their names and photographs for publicity purposes.

 

15.    DATABASE: 

The Promoter collects entrants’ personal information for the purpose of administering the Competition, verifying entries, contacting the winner and awarding the Prize. The Promoter may also use entrants’ personal information to send marketing communications where the entrant has separately consented to receive those communications. Personal information will be handled in accordance with the Wallabies Travel Privacy Policy available at https://wallabiestravel.com.au/privacy-policy/. Entrants may access or correct their personal information, or withdraw their marketing consent, by contacting [email protected]. Entry into the Competition is not conditional upon consenting to receive marketing communications from the Promoter.

 

16.    NO LIABILITY: The Promoter and its associated agencies & companies shall not be liable in any way (including, without limitation, in negligence) for any loss or damage whatsoever suffered (including, without limitation, indirect or consequential loss) or for any loss or damage or personal injury suffered or sustained in connection with the Competition. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any late, lost, misdirected or incomplete entries due to technical disruptions, network congestion or any other reason beyond the Promoter's reasonable control.

 

The Promoter is not liable for any tax implications that may arise as a result of winning.

 

17.    FORCE MAJEURE: If the event forming part of the Prize is cancelled, postponed, rescheduled or otherwise unavailable for reasons beyond the Promoter's reasonable control, the Promoter may substitute the Prize with a prize of equal or greater value, subject to applicable laws.
