About
Joining former Wallabies captain Nathan Sharpe as an ambassador, Caslick is set to join the team to the delight of hundreds of valued customers on tour at Rugby World Cup 2023 in France.
Her decorated Sevens career began in 2013, and soon after her debut, was named in the World Series Dream Team for three consecutive seasons between 2014-2016.
Her success continued in 2016, as part of the first gold medal winning team for Women’s Rugby Sevens during the Rio Olympic Games, scoring seven iconic tries over the tournament. After what proved to be an eventful season, the Australian team went on to win their first World Series after winning three of five tournaments. Caslick was later named the World Rugby Sevens Player of the Year.
The Australian team continued to impress in 2018, with a silver-medal won at the Gold Coast Commonwealth Games and a bronze medal performance at the Women’s Sevens World Cup. The next time Caslick would appear at an Olympics would be in the delayed 2020 Tokyo Olympic Games, with Australia just missing out on a podium placement.
Wallabies Travel General Manager David MacCallum was thrilled to have Caslick joining the team.
“Charlotte is as decorated as they come within the global rugby community and I know many of our team and customers will get a great thrill in having Charlotte on board when we arrive in France for Rugby World Cup 2023,” MacCallum said.
“Clearly, Charlotte has had a powerful influence on the rugby field, but her trailblazing impact for many young girls and boys coming through the grassroots level has been profound.
“At Wallabies Travel, we have a desire to not just build world class experiences for spectators, but to support Rugby Australia grow the sport in its entirety. We believe Charlotte plays a significant role in this growth ambition, with her own personal desire to highlight the benefits that rugby offers and values it can instil in the next generation of Australian rugby stars.
“Charlotte has enjoyed an illustrious career allowing her to travel and experience the world through rugby, and we can’t wait to hear some of her stories through Wallabies Travel."
Caslick said she was delighted to come on board in a partnership capacity with Wallabies Travel.

I can’t wait to get over to France for the Rugby World Cup during my short break from training and join the Wallabies Travel customers on tour for such a significant event on the rugby calendar,” Caslick said.
